EBT Policy
To Our Dear Customers,
According to Michigan State law regarding Bridge cards, it can not be used for bakery deposits or non-edible items.
Customers may purchase an edible item at full price with their bridge card, however, you must take the item with you at the time of purchase.
If you place a cake order and the order requires a deposit or for the cake to be paid in full, a bridge card may not be used.
Anything that is considered non-edible is taxed and a bridge card may not be used on any taxable items. Our taxable items are but not limited to: kits, photoart, foil boards, delivery, artwork and labor.
EBT and how it works with Holiday Market’s Bakery Policies
- EBT may only be used on remaining balances due at time of pick up on all cake or pastry orders.
- Here are our Payment Policies and How it affects EBT usage.
- $0.01 to $45.99 requires no payments due at the time the order is being placed. This means the full amount of the order will be owed at time of pick up and EBT may be used.
- $46.00 to $79.99 requires 50% payment due at the time the order is being placed. This means Half the amount of the order must be paid that day with cash, credit, or debit. Then, the remaining balance may be paid with EBT at time of pick up. To use EBT you must process the transaction at the time of pick up with the cashiers. Paying off your balance ahead of time will require cash, credit, or debit.
- $80.00 or more will need to be paid in full at the time the order is being placed. This means you will not have a remaining balance at pick up and therefore you will not be able to use EBT to pay any amount on the cake order.
Thank you for your understanding.
